How we check

Every 2 minutes a scheduled job reads Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) through official and third-party public RPC endpoints in one Multicall3 call: oraclePaused() on all 203 Stock Tokens and latestRoundData() on all 35 Chainlink Stock Token feeds. Every 10 minutes, and right after any UIMultiplierUpdated event, it also reads uiMultiplier(), newUIMultiplier() and effectiveAt().

Stale vs closed. Per Chainlink, these feeds run 24/5 (Sunday 20:00 to Friday 20:00 ET) and publish nothing, not even heartbeats, while US markets are closed. We count only market-open time (weekends and NYSE holidays removed; calendar through 2028). A feed is stale when more than its heartbeat plus 30 minutes of market time has passed since its last round, or when it has not updated 30 minutes after a reopen. A paused oracle is shown as paused, not stale.

Data source. Reads go to the official public RPC first. Public RPCs throttle shared cloud IPs, so when an endpoint refuses the monitor (HTTP 429 or no answer) it is backed off for 4 to 60 minutes and the check moves to the next public endpoint from the chain registry (PublicNode, dRPC, Daybreak, BlockReq), which must report chain id 4663. Every stored check, alert and incident records which endpoint answered. A block-production alert needs two endpoints to agree that the newest block is over 60 s old, either in the same check or on consecutive checks from different endpoints; one endpoint alone only leaves a monitor note. An endpoint whose newest block is older than one already seen (or impossibly far ahead) is backed off and its answer ignored.

Sequencer and L1. No Chainlink L2 sequencer uptime feed is published for this chain, so liveness is measured directly: the age of the newest block at check time, and the L1 batch posting lag (head time minus the time of the newest block that the Arbitrum NodeInterface.findBatchContainingBlock places in a posted batch; nine probes at 20 s to 30 min behind the head, so it is shown as a range). An L1-lag incident needs two consecutive readings over 5 minutes, the second from a different endpoint when one is available. Both are what the RPC nodes see; an RPC outage is reported as a monitor problem, not a chain outage.

History. Every check is stored as a compact sample (kept 60 days) and rolled up per hour (kept indefinitely). Incidents record the first and last check that saw the condition, with block numbers and feed round ids as evidence; the true start lies between the previous check and the first one listed.
